The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) is the voice of restaurants in Washington, DC and Northern Virginia. Established in 1920, the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington’s vision was to unite restaurateurs and food service industry professionals of the Washington area. Today, RAMW has more than 650 members in the District of Columbia, Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William counties and is the voice of establishments ranging from casual eateries to internationally acclaimed fine dining restaurants.

The Travel Channel: Food Wars: DC Jumbo Slice (Food Writer Judge)
K Street Kate: A new Travel Channel series, Food War, will debut this Spring, showcasing iconic foods from across the country, including DC’s famous “Jumbo Slice.” Blindfolded judge, Lisa Shapiro, author of Dining in DC, isn’t quite sure why pizza was being featured as DC’s most notable nosh, but she’s looking forward to April when she can finally dish on the deepdish.
