Have a milkshake with your Earthquake DC!

Milkshake from BGR Burger joint(Taken from Press Release): At 5:04 this morning, Washington D.C. residents were shaken awake as the largest earthquake ever recorded in D.C.’s history rattled the ground.  Coming in at a magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale, the tremors were felt by the entire D.C. area.   To celebrate this milestone, BGR: The Burger Joint www.bgrtheburgerjoint.com is giving customers an opportunity to shake things up themselves with half priced milkshakes at all locations from 3pm – 4pm this afternoon. ENJOY $2.50 SHAKES FROM 3-4 PM TODAY AT ALL BGR LOCATIONS

Diners can choose from BGR’s classic flavors, Double Chocolate, Vanilla Bean, or Strawberry and the shake of the month, Peach Pie, which features peach ice cream topped with graham cracker crumbles and whipped cream.  Usually sold for $4.99, the hand spun extra thick shakes featuring Gifford’s and Breyer’s ice cream will be $2.50 today only (7/16).  A portion of the sales from this promotion will be donated to benefit the American Red Cross’s disaster relief fund.
