This morning … yes at 5 a.m. I was up with Marissa Lyn who is just 17 months. I decided to go and check email and stuff and saw that Angie Goff, morning news and traffic reporter has a live chat room during her report. I never thought that I would be awake that early, but I am glad that I caught it. It was awesome! And the chat room participants are lively and fun!

A little background on Angie …

During this time Goff also served as the personal assistant to Entertainment Tonight co-host Mark Steines.
Goff was born in Seoul, South Korea. She spent most of her childhood and teenage years there, and attended the Seoul American High School for her freshman and sophomore years, where she played guard on the basketball team. In 1995 she moved to Herndon, Virginia and graduated from Herndon High School, where she was senior class president. She earned a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University in 2001, and remains an active alumni with her women’s fraternity Alpha Omicron Pi.
Goff, who is a member of National Alliance on Mental Illness, is a longtime advocate for mental health issues. She is also very active with the Asian American community and is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association. Having grown up a military brat, Goff works with the Yellow Ribbon Fund and its Adopt-a-Soldier program.
